    Hi everyone,

I hope you are all keeping sane and healthy. Who knows how long this will last but I highly encourage each of you to do at least one thing each day to exercise your brain and your body (other than playing video games). Read a book, do a puzzle, play a board game, take a walk, go for a run. Help your parents out around the house, clean out your closet, rearrange your room, just don't go hang out with others. This pandemic is serious and where math and real life come together. Numbers don't lie. This will be a period in our history that will impact millions of people.

For those of you in Algebra 2, tell me what parent function does the number of COVID-19 cases each day represent? These are not made up numbers.

As for your classes and content moving forward, I am working on developing lessons and assignments to keep you on pace with what you should be learning these weeks away from school. Keep an eye on your school email and my class page for updates.

For those of you in my Per 1 and Per 7 classes I have posted some IXL assignments in the Algebra 1 Part 1 folder for you to work on at your own pace. The first 6 are not optional as they were assigned and due prior to the school closing so you need to be sure to get them done. Log into IXL through Clever if possible or go to and use your personal username and password. Email me if you have problems with that.

I will try to post something here every few days. And you are welcome to add pertinent comments or questions.

    Be safe,

    Mrs Murray

I'm not entirely sure how I'll be using it but just want you to be aware that we may be using it as a means to share things. Algebra 2 classes, I don't have anything specific for you at this point but know that we are working on it. If you have any assignments that hadn't been completed before the school closure you can work on them and get them done. I'll figure out a way for you to submit them.posted a Algebra 1 Part 1 classes, I have posted a list of IXL assignments for you to work on over the coming weeks.
