Bryan Harvey has taught for twelve years in Prince William County, having spent time at both Patriot and C. D. Hylton High Schools. He holds a Master’s in Literature from George Mason University, a Master’s in Teaching from James Madison University, and a Bachelor’s in English from James Madison University. He contributes regularly to Fansided's The Step Back. In the past, he has written for Hardwood Paroxysm,  Sports Illustrated’s The Cauldron, and The Classical. He has also contributed to sites affiliated with ESPN’s True Hoop Network and Fox Sports. He is the author of the multimedia novels Everything That Dunks Must Converge and With the Memphis Blues Again. His fiction and poetry have been published in Gravel Magazine, Former Cactus, The Shocker, The Florida Review, Bluestem Magazine, The Cold Mountain Review, The Rufous City Review, and The Harpoon Review. The most beautiful thing he’s seen is the ball movement of the 2014 San Antonio Spurs. He puts it right up there with Shakespeare, volcanic craters, and Arctic glaciers. He would most definitely try dinosaur meat if given the opportunity.
