New Administrative Intern: Dr. Don Armstrong

Dr.  Armstrong has worked in the field of education for 19 years: 7 years for Prince William County Schools, 9 years for Tulsa Public Schools, and 3 years at the university level (Virginia Commonwealth University and Shenandoah University). A lifelong learner, Dr. Armstrong holds degrees in Educational Administration and Supervision, Music Performance, Music Education, and Computer Science.

Dr. Armstrong’s belief in the importance and power of education is best expressed in the words of the great Nelson Mandela who said: “Education is the great engine of personal development. It is through education that the daughter of a peasant can become a doctor, that the son of a mine worker can become the head of the mine, that a child of farm workers can become the president of a great nation. It is what we make out of what we have, not what we are given, that separates one person from another.”
