JOIN THE PRINCIPAL'S ADVISORY COUNCIL (PAC)

WORKING TOGETHER TOWARD STUDENT SUCCESS

The PAC serves both a representative and advisory function, which is made up of parents, students, teachers, and community stakeholders to assist and support our school Principal and Leadership Team by: *

  • Offering suggestions on school policies, programs, and improvement initiatives;
  • Serving as a sounding board for strategic decisions (e.g., instructional practice, school culture, and student concerns)
  • Developing the school plan to include objectives, strategies, and action plans;
  • Aligning the school plan and action plans with the division Strategic Plan;
  • Aligning the school budget with the school plan;
  • Reviewing the alignment of the school professional development plan with the school plan;
  • Monitoring and evaluation of the implementation of the plan;
  • Working together to improve communication between school leadership and stakeholders within the Freedom High School community;
  • Ensuring that underrepresented voices are heard and considered in school decisions; and
  • Assuming other responsibilities as deemed appropriate by the principal and school.

ÚNASE AL CONSEJO CONSULTIVO DEL DIRECTOR (PAC)

TRABAJANDO JUNTOS HACIA EL ÉXITO ESTUDIANTIL

El PAC cumple una función de representación y asesoramiento para ayudar y apoyar al director y al equipo de liderazgo de nuestra escuela al:

  • Desarrollar el plan escolar para incluir objetivos, estrategias y planes de acción.
  • Alinear el plan escolar y los planes de acción con el Plan Estratégico de la división;
  • Alinear el presupuesto escolar con el plan escolar;
  • Revisar la alineación del plan de desarrollo profesional escolar con el plan escolar;
  • Seguimiento y evaluación de la implementación del plan; y
  • Asumir otras responsabilidades que el director y la escuela consideren apropiadas.
