Bell-to-Bell = No Phones or Headphones

  • Phones and personal electronic devices must be off and stored away from 7:25-2:05 (includes lunch and hallway transitions)
  • Headphones, AirPods, and earbuds are also not allowed during the school day

When you CAN Use Devices

  • Before and after school
  • On the bus (as long as it does not distract the driver)

Who Picks Up the Device?

  • 1st Offense - Student picks up at the end of the day
  • 2nd Offense - Student picks up at the end of the day
  • 3rd Offense & Beyond - Parent must pick up the device

Cell phone pilot student disciplinary overview. For the first offense, the device is surrendered to staff and returned at the end of the class period, the student signs the acknowledgment form, and the offense is documented in The Hub. For the second offense, the device is surrendered to staff and sent to the main office where it can be retrieved at the end of the school day, the parent(s)/guardian(s) are notified of the offense, and the offense is documented in The Hub. For the third offense, the device is surrendered to staff and sent to the main office where it must be retrieved by a parent/guardian, the parent/guardian, the student signs the acknowledgment form, the student must complete a cell Canvas module, and a referral will be generated.
